An Addition to an Addiction

It is no secret that Fifi is a chinaholic! One thing on the wish list was china with a platinum band. Having seen several pretty patterns that were way out of my price range, I put the idea on the back burner. Yesterday, we happened upon some. After briefly looking at it, I kept going. However, the china was well planted in my mind and would not go away. So, I researched the pattern online and saw that the asking price was a steal. Today, we went back to look at it and after close examination, it came home with us. This pattern is Shelton by Haviland.

Nautical Thrift Find

We happened upon these nautical plates today and they came home with us. My first thought was for the lake and I could not wait to show them to David. He liked them and since they were only 50 cents each, they were too hard to resist. There are four salad plates and four dinner plates. The maker is Oneida.

March 1st Treasures

It goes without saying, that the thrill of the hunt never gets old. However, when I find treasures to bring home, that is icing on the cake.
Anything with a bunny theme always catches my eye. This teapot was so adorable. It was made in Portugal.
The handmade placemat is one of a set of eight. I can't wait to use them in a tablescape.
Blue transferware is one of my loves and this plate will find a home in the music office at church.
One of our favorite places is Williamsburg. Both of us liked this plate but I was not going to get it. The mister insisted and so it came home with us. Now, where to put it???
